"A Day In The Life" was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and released by The Beatles as the final track on their eighth album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, on June 1, 1967. Rolling Stone ranked the song #28 on their list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time," and #1 on their list of the "100 Greatest Beatles Songs."
This performance of "A Day In The Life" featuring 20-year-old Tal Wilkenfeld on bass was given during the Crossroads Guitar Festival (founded by Eric Clapton) at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois on July 28, 2007.
